Will They Ever Learn?

September 21, 2014

Warning: There may be spoilers ahead if you are not current on the story.

Is it me or do your characters never learn from their mistakes?

It’s not just you. But it’s also not completely true. Did Drew just make a big mistake returning to Germany? The obvious answer is yes. But he didn’t have much of a choice. NCIS has paid for three trips to Germany while he insisted he was getting close to the truth. They want results. When the CIA stepped in with their own motives, Drew had no choice but to go.

Cooper returns also under orders. The last time he was there, he had unexpected help from Max Keller and a German agent. This time he has no one, except for an NCIS agent who sent him on a wild goose chase to get rid of him.

Big mistake for both of them. Where is Cooper?

You’ll find out next week. I don’t want to give too many spoilers. But if he survives this mission, it might be the final straw to move to California and be the filmmaker he always wanted to be.

Kerry Page makes jewelry? That seems out of character.

What is a intelligence agent to do when forced into retirement? Kerry had to find something to do. She has an interesting story to tell in the next few weeks. I think it won’t seem so out of character by the end of her story.

There was a hint that Max might be dead. And Drew is being held by Britta Tölzer. Will there be a high body count by the end of the Sequels?

I’ve been trying to decide who makes it out alive. I have a clear vision of the end and I don’t want to say too much. A coworker of mine at (day job) hated the end of the Divergent trilogy. (If you haven’t read them, I apologize if I’ve spoiled it for you.) I hesitate to kill off main characters. But I’m also hesitant to just give everybody happy endings. I think the upcoming finale is the right ending for each character. How is that for a non-answer?
